As a skilled and dedicated criminal defence lawyer with extensive experience on both the defence and prosecution sides of the courtroom, Victoria has defended clients in countless trials in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Courts of Justice. She has achieved acquittals for clients across a wide range of charges including aggravated assaults, sexual offences, impaired driving, robbery, trafficking of drugs, and numerous firearms offences. Known for her compassionate and fierce advocacy, Victoria takes the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances and provides tailored, effective legal strategies. 

She began her legal career after earning a Juris Doctor degree from Bond University in Australia, graduating at the top of her class with first-class distinction. Prior to attending law school, Victoria graduated from the University of Western Ontario, earning an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. While in law school, Victoria excelled academically, earning numerous awards, including achieving first in class in both Criminal Law and Constitutional Law as well as placement on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence. She was also appointed a student editor of the Bond Law Review and as a leader and seminar instructor with the Bond Law Students’ Association. 

Following her call to the bar, Victoria worked at a well-known criminal defence firm in London, later becoming a partner, where she built a reputation for tenacious advocacy and meticulous preparation. Prior to joining Kruse Law, she served as a Crown Attorney, where she prosecuted a wide range of serious criminal matters, including violent offences, firearms cases, and sexual offences. This unique combination of defence and prosecution experience gives Victoria unparalleled insight into the criminal justice system and a strategic edge in representing clients.
